Groups and Courses
Middlesbrough Mind runs a variety of regular courses and groups
aimed at helping people develop effective ways of coping with and
recovering from emotional and mental health difficulties.
Staying Well Group
Our Staying Well Group meets weekly on a Wednesday afternoon, from
3.45pm to 5pm, at the Open Mind Centre. This is an open, facilitated
group, through which people work together, share their experiences
and develop new ways of managing their mental health and well-being.
Topics covered regularly include confidence, communication skills
and relationships. Anyone who feels they might benefit is welcome
to come along and join the group.
Anger Management
We run a three-day Anger Management programme, which was developed
by Middlesbrough Mind. The programme usually runs four times a year
and is for people who want to learn new techniques to manage their
anger.
